impact of OSCE test workshop on reducing anxiety in anesthesia and operating room students

Background: Objective Structural clinical evaluation (OSCE) is newly emerging methods that has been used in recent years the medical and paramedical fields. However, one of its disadvantages it causes anxiety, which, turn, reduces effectiveness test. Therefore, main purpose present study was to evaluate OSCE test familiarity workshop on anxiety anesthesia students operating room Ilam University Medical Sciences, Iran. Methods: This research quasi-experimental nature performed 72 who were studying room. In doing so, each class randomly assigned into control intervention groups. Then, a held hour before familiarize with stations, how ask questions answer group. Spielberger questionnaire also completed. Besides, data analysis using SPSS 21 statistical software (Chicago, IL, USA). Results: The highest frequency (52.77%) related participants, whom 58.33% girls. mean score 48.15 7 7.15 which decreased 30.80 98 6.98 after (P <0.042).
